Fellow members.

Today I phoned and talked to Arnold Bobroff in Powell River, to see if he was interested in entering one of his Pontiacs in the upcoming World of Wheels show in the Abbotsford Tradex building.

Arnold has been in and out of assorted Hospitals between Powell River and Vancouver since September of last year.

Originally for a pneumonia type lung things that he didn’t really know he had, but it turned out he was very lucky his Dr. noticed it and took appropriate action when he did.  He still needs a possible two more operations to make all things work well.  The first one of these will be on Feb 9^th, he’ll be home within a couple of days, but he doesn’t believe he can make this show.

 His Dr. knows of his hobby and has promised to make him run as good as one of his Pontaics.

He wants to be in top shape for the shows in the summer.

He got a few offers on his cars, but none were acceptable to him, so he still has his Pontiacs.

All in all he’s in good shape and enjoyed the call. This is another reason we need to keep in touch with our members in any way we can.  We are a club need to remember our friends.  I’m sure Arnold would love to hear from you (604-485-7778), so please give him a call.
